Doodle Club Kit
If you want to start drawing fast without overthinking it, this is the setup I recommend.
This is the exact type of kit I use in Doodle Club sessions inside Korp Academy. It’s simple, cheap, and perfect for filling sketchbooks quickly.
Black Sharpie (twin tip)
Description:Â Twin tip is the most convenient to get because you automatically have the magic "fat pen thin pen" combo
Why this matters:Â Gives you bold, confident lines. Great for getting ideas down fast.
My tip:
Don’t worry about being neat. These are for messy, wonky drawings.
Sakura Pigma Microns (2 sizes)
Why this matters:
Adds detail and variation. Thin + thick lines instantly improve your drawings.
My tip:
Use at least two sizes. One for outlines, one for details.
Sketchbook or marker pad
Why this matters:
Gives you somewhere to actually draw (sounds obvious, but people skip this).
My tip:
Don’t overthink the paper. Cheap is fine. You’re here to draw more, not make perfect pages.
