This week’s tutorial focused on three areas: layering with Posca pens, drawing hands that don’t suck, and adding easy emotion to your characters.
We started with simple shapes, then layered with Poscas to add fur. We then tackled hands, but instead of perfect anatomy, I'll show you how to draw simple cartoony hands that work for your character.
Lastly, emotion. With just a few tweaks to the eyes you can go from flat to full-on freaked out. It’s way easier than you think once you know what to exaggerate.
