Oh My Heart Doodle

This tutorial is based on Stumpt Workshop’s character, Oh My Heart. It’s a black silhouette drawing that uses fake white outlines, so the paper does a lot of the work. A good one if you want to practise control, wonky shapes and leaving little gaps on purpose.

Tiny Town Monster

This Color Club tutorial is a Stumpt Workshop mashup, using layered colour, tiny buildings, and one big monster to pull it all together. No pencils for this one. Just marker pens, brave mark making, and a lot of black silhouette work.

This tutorial is based on the artwork of Stumpt Workshop, with a big wonky mouth, sharp teeth, scales and a simple zen doodle pattern. It’s a good one if you want to practise loose line work, texture and not getting too precious about neatness.

This one’s fast. Proper fast. It’s based on a John Kelly Green Frankenstein piece—so you’ve got that heavy black, chunky outline doing most of the work, with barely any lines inside. Puffingmuffin

This tiny monster was a lot of fun to draw. We keep the cel shading and texture simple and add character with a few cut in lines around the eyes.

Bowl of Monsters

The intention behind this was to finish with adding some noodles (or worms) coming out of the bowl but we ran out of time. Still looks great with lots of little shaded beasts stacked up on top of each other.
