Same character, but this time with colour doing the heavy lifting.
This version is all about layering Posca paint—blocking in big shapes first, then bringing it to life with outlines and detail after. It looks messy halfway through, but that’s part of it. You build it in stages and clean it up at the end.
The big takeaway here is control. Controlling your pens, your colour, and not panicking when things look rough. Also learning how to work with the surface—cardboard, packaging, anything you’ve got lying around. Some of the best results come from stuff you weren’t even planning to draw on.
