This one is a follow-on from last week’s class, where we looked at work inspired by Molska’s graphic elements and decorative shapes.
This time we’re taking that same kind of idea and turning it into a Posca drawing with loads of colour, pattern and bold flat shapes. It looks detailed, but the actual build is really simple once you break it into stages.

The big lesson in this tutorial is learning how to layer Posca work without relying on black. You’ll block the whole thing in first, then go back over the top with lighter details, repeated patterns and little cut-in shapes to bring it all to life. Good one for getting braver with colour and learning how to build detail without overcomplicating the drawing.
