In this tutorial, we’re filling a sketchbook page with chickens using the DoodleDeck chicken cards, but with a bit of a twist.
Instead of letting the cards decide everything, we’ll put a bunch of simple sausage shapes down in pencil first, then roll the cards and make whatever chicken appears fit the space. It’s a good exercise for forcing yourself to change shapes, flip characters around and come up with chickens you probably wouldn’t have drawn otherwise.
