Drippy Cockroach Upgrade
This tutorial takes the cockroach character from the previous lesson and adds all the extra weird stuff we didn't get around to the first time. We're adding eyelids, eyebrows and plenty of drips and splats to push the character a bit further.

In this tutorial we’re drawing a weird little cockroach-style bug with big eyes, four jazz hands and plenty of character.
We’ll build it up with Posca pens, add some simple shadows and highlights, then finish it with wrinkles, spots, spiky legs and plenty of wonky lines.

In this tutorial, we’re drawing a weird fly character with huge eyes, a wrinkled snout, a trucker cap and a simple jacket.
It’s a good one for practising thick and thin linework, adding wonky details and building a character without overthinking every mark.

Bee-u-tiful Bug
This one is based on John Kelly Green’s Bee-u-tiful piece and it’s a really fun mix of bold and soft.
The bug itself has those thick black shapes and heavy outlines that make John’s work so good, but then the wings are much lighter and more transparent. That contrast is what makes this one work.
