Krumm
n this tutorial, we’re drawing Crumb from Aaahh!!! Real Monsters using Promarkers and fineliners. It’s a weird, wonky character with eyeballs in his hands, oversized feet and plenty of hairy details, so there’s lots of room to make your version your own.

Fix a Bleed-Through Page
Got marker bleed coming through from the other side of your sketchbook page? Instead of writing the page off, we’re going to cover it with a page full of KRTRS Card characters.
The trick is cramming the characters together, adapting them to fit the gaps and using smaller details to fill the space...

Monster With Antlers
In this tutorial, we’re drawing a simple furry monster with a huge pair of antlers.
We’ll keep the character itself nice and simple, then use curved lines, white details and a bit of cutting in to give the antlers and fur much more shape.

Godzilla
This session was run by guest artists KDVM.
Inspired by Jim Bradshaw, we’re taking one of his little dinosaur/Godzilla-style characters and turning it into a colourful city scene.
It’s a great one for playing with colour, wonky shapes and all those weird little background details that make his wo...

Oh My Heart Doodle
This tutorial is based on Stumpt Workshop’s character, Oh My Heart.
It’s a black silhouette drawing that uses fake white outlines, so the paper does a lot of the work. A good one if you want to practise control, wonky shapes and leaving little gaps on purpose.

Tiny Town Monster
This Color Club tutorial is a Stumpt Workshop mashup, using layered colour, tiny buildings, and one big monster to pull it all together.
No pencils for this one. Just marker pens, brave mark making, and a lot of black silhouette work.

Stumpt Monster
This tutorial is based on the artwork of Stumpt Workshop, with a big wonky mouth, sharp teeth, scales and a simple zen doodle pattern.
It’s a good one if you want to practise loose line work, texture and not getting too precious about neatness.

The Zippers
This one’s fast.
Proper fast.
It’s based on a John Kelly Green Frankenstein piece—so you’ve got that heavy black, chunky outline doing most of the work, with barely any lines inside. That’s the whole point here: less detail, more impact.
It’s a little bit dark, but the goofy grin keeps it light. ...

Puffingmuffin
This tiny monster was a lot of fun to draw. We keep the cel shading and texture simple and add character with a few cut in lines around the eyes.

Bowl of Monsters
The intention behind this was to finish with adding some noodles (or worms) coming out of the bowl but we ran out of time. Still looks great with lots of little shaded beasts stacked up on top of each other.

Mouth in your Heart
We tick over 60 minutes in this tutorial so make sure you are prepared. My advice is take a break after the colouring in is done so your black outlines go on smooth.
