In this Color Club tutorial, weā€™re drawing a RikCat inspired pyramid character with a big eye, chunky mouth, little limbs and a bottle in its hand.
Itā€™s a good one for practising wonky outlines, simple shading and adding a slightly glitchy offset effect without overthinking the whole thing.

Weā€™ll keep the shapes simple, build up a few weird faces, then use black pen and pencil to create fake white power lines that make the characters pop off the page.

RikCat Zombie Head
This week weā€™re drawing a weird zombie head inspired by Rick Catlow, also known as RikCat.
His monsters have that brilliant naive style with fat black outlines, strange noses and scratchy little details. It works really well with Posca pens, especially if you like your characters a bit odd.
