In this Color Club tutorial, we’re drawing a RikCat inspired pyramid character with a big eye, chunky mouth, little limbs and a bottle in its hand. It’s a good one for practising wonky outlines, simple shading and adding a slightly glitchy offset effect without overthinking the whole thing.

RikCat Style Wierdo's

In this tutorial we’re drawing a RikCat style page, inspired by Rick Catlow’s chunky, wonky character work. We’ll keep the shapes simple, build up a few weird faces, then use black pen and pencil to create fake white power lines that make the characters pop off the page.
