The Zippers

This one’s fast and based on a John Kelly Green Frankenstein piece—so you’ve got that heavy black, chunky outline doing most of the work, with barely any lines inside. That’s the whole point here: less detail, more impact. It’s a little bit dark, but the goofy grin keeps it light. That balance is...

One Track Mind

This one is based on John Kelly Green’s Nicker Bookers piece from One Track Mind week. It’s a nice easy drawing built from fat black lines, big shapes and loads of character. A good one if you want to loosen up, stop overthinking and just get something on the page. The big lesson in this tutorial...

Puffingmuffin Dog

Treat this as linework practice with a brush pen where you still get a finished drawing at the end. Its all about getting thin, fat and wonky lines with a brush pen and seeing how quick it all comes together.

Puffingmuffin Doodle

Rule one of the Korp Academy is to double line everything you do. Not to make it twice as thick but to make it twice as wonky. That makes this tutorial very different as we aim to recreate the quick doodle style of Puffingmuffin by only single lining our work. Embrace the sketchiness, that is wha...

Zombies

Let me show you how to draw lots of different zombies by drawing the same zombie lots of times! Does that make sense? I'm not sure but the point here is that we follow the same process and just change the initial pencil guidelines to help us draw lots of different characters. Each time we make a ...

Zombie

Let me show you how easy it is to draw this zombie from Jimmy Two-Shoes. The focus is on building contrast with black eyes, white skin and mid-one features using thin lines to shade in.

Tiki Mask

For a small drawing this takes some time down to the extra detail we put in those shadows. Worth the effort though.
