This session is run by KDVM, an artist who regularly hosts sessions in the Korp Academy. In this tutorial, she’ll show you how to draw a chunky little crab with oversized claws, spindly legs and a seriously crabby expression, using bold black shadows and rough textures to give it a comic-book feel.

Loosely inspired by Elise Gravel, this Posca Club tutorial is all about drawing a loose, colourful fly while practising simple colour blending and layered texture. It’s a quick piece that gives you plenty of space to experiment without worrying about making every line perfect.

This is the easiest way to draw a sloth with just a few basic shapes to get you started. This then leaves lots of opportunities for you to add your own ideas to it.
