Now we actually build 2 full KorpDogs from start to finish.

We begin with a light pencil sketch—yeah, I don’t usually use pencil, but for this one it helps you map things out without stress.

Then we bring it to life with colour. You’ll use the colour combo approach so everything looks bold and considered.

Next comes outlining. This is where the double line comes in—wonky on purpose, way more forgiving, and it instantly gives your drawing more character.

After that, we sharpen everything up. You’ll use cutting in to clean edges, add details, and make the whole thing feel finished.

And then one of the best bits—using Posca properly means you can go back in and add more, fix things, or push the drawing further even after it looks “done”.

By the end, you won’t just have one finished piece—you’ll actually understand how to make more without second guessing yourself.

This is where most people struggle with Posca—and where things usually go wrong.

So we keep it simple.

First, I’ll show you exactly how blending works with paint pens (no guesswork, no muddy mess). You’ll learn the two main techniques we use and when to use each one.

Then we practice it on a simple character. Not to make something perfect—just to get comfortable and see how the pens behave.

After that, we take it into a full drawing.

You’ll use layering and wet blending together to create something bold, colourful, and a bit weird (in a good way). And you’ll see how mistakes can actually improve the final piece instead of ruining it.

By the end of this section, blending won’t feel confusing anymore—you’ll know exactly what to do and when to do it.

Now you’ve got the basics, it’s time to just draw more.

This section is a mix of step-by-step tutorials pulled straight from the Korp Academy. Different characters, different styles—dogs, cactus ghosts, zombies, and more.

Every lesson is designed to be quick and doable (around an hour or less), so you’re not stuck on one drawing for days.

You follow along, keep it loose, and actually finish something.

That’s the goal here—build momentum, try new ideas, and get comfortable creating without overthinking it.
