In this tutorial we take a technique that I've seen a few artists use to highlight a section of their drawing in colour. Nina Dzyvulska used the light from a torch to section off her colour area but I've also seen Vexx do something similar with the ray beam on a flying saucer.
The great thing about this tutorial is that you can stop early if you just want to draw a nice fish. See it through to the end and you've got an exploding fish. Try this technique on any Posca drawings.
