In this video we draw my adaptable monster called Noodle and by accident we learn how to get around a pen running out midway through a drawing by covering a dodgy blend with some distracting textures.
A great solution for art block is to draw the same thing over and over, it requires little imagination and gets you working. I like drawing sausages because they are simple and adding faces on them using my prompt cards so I don't have to think about that either.
This is a really simple zentangle pattern that you can add to any drawing. In this video I also incorporate a few little characters to help add perspective.
My favourite thing is to make up a weird monster. Tongues for eyes, eyes in mouths, weird hair and weird skin and all the modular building blocks to create a great monster.
