Blob Faces
This is a great excercise that builds on one of the core Korp Academy principles of drawing the same thing over and over. Essentially you will be drawing a face to fit a random blob of ink. We'll start this tutorial with a bit of structure before freestyling in the second half.

Sad Face
We use gaps in the black areas to create fake white lines that give this character a more obvious shape.

Illegems Face
This Posca drawing is based on a piece by Julie Illegems. I chose it because it demonstrates a nice technique we can use when dfrawing hair.

Puffingmuffin
Treat this as linework practice with a brush pen where you still get a finished drawing at the end. Its all about getting thin, fat and wonky lines with a brush pen and seeing how quick it all comes together.

Puffingmuffin
This tiny monster was a lot of fun to draw. We keep the cel shading and texture simple and add character with a few cut in lines around the eyes.

Puffingmuffin
I love trying to recreate painted artwork using just marker pens so I was looking forward to taking on a watercolour piece by Puffingmuffin. We use rough blending techniques and layers to create a watercolour effect and finish off with a black pen to bring focus to the characters.

Rule one of the Korp Academy is to double line everything you do. Not to make it twice as thick but to make it twice as wonky. That makes this tutorial very different as we aim to recreate the quick doodle style of Puffingmuffin by only single lining our work. Embrace the sketchiness, that is wha...

Our artist of the week is Puffingmuffin so in this tutorial we grab our Posca pens and get loose with colour. We also play with a multi-coloured border.

Zombie
In this video we use some fat PC-7M pens alongside the PC-5BR brush pen. It's all about getting loose with the fat pens then closing in on the details with the brush pen to shore it all up. I think this process works because you slowly increase the attention to detail as you get through you're dr...

Zombies
Let me show you how to draw lots of different zombies by drawing the same zombie lots of times! Does that make sense? I'm not sure but the point here is that we follow the same process and just change the initial pencil guidelines to help us draw lots of different characters. Each time we make a ...

Tiki Tony
In this video I'll show you the modular style of Tiki Tony. By remembering a handful of mouths, a handful of noses and a handful of armpits you can mix and match to create different looks without having to come up with something new everytime.
